The Company
was formed in 1993 from the amalgamation of two companies which jointly
boasted fifty years experience in commercial vehicle repair and re-finishing.
That level of experience continues to be reflected in the company's present
high standard of service and quality of workmanship. Today GB Truck Services
Award Winning Team offers commercial vehicle operators and their insurance companies the most comprehensive repair and refinishing service available, from a single site, anywhere in the UK. The Company's three acre site, close to junction 36 of the M1, has the capacity to accommodate a huge volume of truck repairs, while the 22,000 sq. ft. of workshops are among the best equipped in the country. The resources include four purpose-built low bake commercial spray booths, including a 30ft, two 60ft and a 40ft constructed in tandem with one of the 60ft to provide a 100ft low bake facility. This allows the company to achieve the highest possible throughput of all sizes of vehicles and minimise customer's off-road times. Also present on the site are specialist commercial vehicle electrics division, a diesel pump injector facility, a dedicated turbocharger section and the most advanced Blackhawk Commercial Vehicle crash repair system. Grit blasting is a vital element in any paint refurbishing process, and the company has the facilities to handle vehicles and trailers up to 13.6m in length. In order to comply with environmental policies and legislation, GB Truck Services utilise E.P.A. compliant coatings from leading paint manufacturers including ICI, Masons and Akzo who also then allow us to offer their certified warranty schemes. |
